Sanchez claims that time will lead his former Espanyol manager to return to LaLiga someday.

According to Victor Sanchez,

Mauricio Pochettino

, who thrived as

boss, will

“end up coaching

Real Madrid

at some point”

. During his time with the Spurs, Pochettino had a quite prolific run but their lack of titles led the manager to step down from his position.

Though the coaching position in Santiago Bernabeu continues to be occupied by

Zinedine Zidane

, there may be talks of bringing in Pochettino when the Frenchman decides to part ways with the team.

Sanchez, who had the chance to play under Pochettino’s management at

, believes Real Madrid will approach the Argentine

“at some point”

“He is in the best moment in his career,”

Sanchez told

“I think he'll end up coaching Real Madrid at some point, because he's always liked them a lot.”

“He's earned the respect of other coaches and right now he can coach any team [in the world].”

Pochettino, who has admitted to being interested in coaching any LaLiga squad other than

, could be in-line to be Zidane’s successor but after passing their phase of inconsistency and returning to their former shape it seems that Zidane has shut down the rumors threating his position with Real Madrid.
