Wolves connected with Man City’s Oleksandr Zinchenko

Oleksandr Zinchenko moved in Manchester City in 2016.

Following a short loan spell with PSV, the Ukrainian rejoined City in 2017 to compete for his place amongst City’s ranks.

The midfielder has since played 73 times across all competitions for the Citizens, providing two goals and five assists.

However, he has been unable to hold down a regular starting spot for Pep Guardiola.

For example, this season had Joao Cancelo widely control the left side of City’s backline, with

Zinchenko

only afforded a bit-part role.

In fact, the goaler has garnered just 12 minutes of Premier League action to date.

So, with the January window coming, it shouldn’t be a huge surprise to observe

Zinchenko

linked with a move away from

Manchester

.

Back in 2018,

Wolves

are one team to have a connection with the

City

man, and links like that have since returned this weekend.

The Molineux outfit are waiting to restore their interest in

Zinchenko

.

Wolves

boss, Nuno Espirito Santo claimed to hail the technical power held by the 23-year-old, beside the fact that he can play in both defense and midfield.

No transfer fee is considered for

Zinchenko

, who still has three and a half years left on his current contract at the Etihad.
