Sandro: ‘I’m very happy to have played 90 minutes’
Alex Sandro has been away due to his hamstring injury and yesterday was able to play 90 minutes against the Hungarians.
He has been suffering from a hamstring injury and only last weekend was able to play in the last five minutes of the game against Cagliari. But now he played for 90 minutes and admitted that ‘It’s difficult to be off the pitch for such a long time’.
“I’m very happy to have played 90 minutes,” the 29-year-old said. “The team helped me a lot, starting with the coach.
“It’s difficult to be off the pitch for such a long time, but I’m happy for the win and for everyone’s commitment.
“My role is always to push on the wing.”
