Guardiola responds to Liverpool's triumph in Premier League

The Spanish manager has claimed that he is "professional" enough to realize that his team will not win everything

Liverpool

celebrated the Premier League title last season. The Etihad Stadium side, had set the target for winning the crown in consecutive seasons in the two previous campaign, yet Liverpool won the title with a record number of games in 2020-21. The Reds achieved a remarkable 99 points despite a moderate collapse in the end of the campaign.

Guardiola, insisted that he was unaffected by Jurgen Klopp’s previous success and when asking about his feelings after the loss, he said: “Absolutely zero because they well deserved it. “I am professional enough to know we are not going to win all the titles. In football and sport, you lose more than you win and the important thing is how you learn from your mistakes.” talking about Sunday’s crucial match against Liverpool he added. “We are not going to win the Premier League on Sunday and we are not going to lose it on Sunday,”
