Al Hilal crowned champion of the Saudi Professional League

A crushing victory with a score of 4-1 over Al Hazm: Al Hilal’s journey towards the top reaches its peak in round 31 and the brilliance never ends

Al Hilal team managed to win the Saudi Professional League title for the nineteenth time in its history, as it achieved a crushing victory with a score of 4-1 over Al Hazm club, within the competitions of the thirty-first round of the league championship.

With this victory, Al Hilal’s score rose to 89 points, occupying the top of the Roshn League standings, while Al Hazm’s score stabilized at 20 points in the last position in the standings.

Al Hilal is now 12 points away from its closest competitor, Al Nassr team, making the chance of compensation impossible before the end of the competition with only three rounds left.

Al Hilal continued its consecutive winning streak in the league, having won the last 24 matches in a row, without receiving any defeat in 31 rounds so far.

The goals of the match for Al Hilal were scored by Mitrovic in the 15th and 45+3 minutes, Ahmed Al Jawad (by mistake in his goal) in the 39th minute, and Savic in the 45+6 minute, while Faiz Selemani scored the only goal for Al Hazm in the 34th minute.

The first half witnessed absolute control by Al Hilal over the play and possession of the ball, as they were passing it between their players skillfully and sending crosses from both the right and left flanks.

Mitrovic succeeded in scoring the lead goal from a penalty kick in the 15th minute. Despite Al Hilal’s attempts to score, Mohamed Badamosi almost equalized the score in favor of Al Hazm in the 39th minute, but the goal was canceled due to offside.

In the 34th minute, Faez Selemani succeeded in scoring the equalizing goal for Al Hazm team after he was alone with the goal, but Al Hilal was able to regain the lead by scoring a second goal through Ahmed Al Jawad (by mistake in his goal) in the 39th minute.

In the second half, Al Hazm team started strongly, as they moved away from their penalty area and threatened Al Hilal’s goal with a powerful shot from Junior Moreno in the 52nd minute.

Jorge Jesus made changes in the lineup in the 62nd minute, where he included Renan Lodi and Nasser Al Dawsari instead of Yasser Al Shahrani and Ruben Neves, then Hassan Tambakti instead of Kalidou Koulibaly and Mohamed Al Qahtani in the 62nd minute.

Despite the pressure exerted by Al Hazm team, Al Hilal managed to score the third and fourth goals in the last minutes of the match, to decide the victory with a score of 4-1, thus achieving the league title.
