In a post-match conference, coach Hassan Ahmed praised the players and highlighted the significant contributions of the home ground and fans to Al-Minaa's second victory this season against Al-Najaf.
Meanwhile, Ayman Kamal, the assistant coach of Al-Najaf, expressed dissatisfaction with the loss and emphasized unjustifiable errors made by the players.
Al-Minaa secured a 2-1 victory over Al-Najaf in the seventh round of the Iraqi Stars League.
Hassan Ahmed stated, "We are proud of the team's performance, and the home ground and fans had a significant impact on the players." He continued, "The league is long, and competition will intensify in the upcoming matches. We will utilize the break period to improve the team's performance."
Addressing the challenges ahead, Ahmed mentioned, "Al-Najaf has professional players, while our team faces difficulties in this aspect. I believe the numerical disadvantage will affect our next match against Al-Talaba."
On the other side, Ayman Kamal, the assistant coach of Al-Najaf, revealed, "Everyone is dissatisfied with the defeat against Al-Minaa." He added, "We were not the usual Al-Najaf, and the match was tough." He concluded by saying, "The reason for the loss lies in unjustifiable errors made by the players."
