Jorge Jesus Satisfied with Al-Hilal's Performance

Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, overseeing the training of Saudi club Al-Hilal, expressed his satisfaction with the team's performance in their 2-1 victory over Iran's Nassaji on Monday, concluding the group stage of the AFC Champions League.

In the press conference, Jesus stated, "We were aware that the result of the match wouldn't affect our qualification for the next round, but we entered the game with the aim of achieving victory. Some players were given the opportunity to participate for additional minutes, as was the case with Al-Shahrani and Al-Hamdan."

He continued, "We participate in several matches in a short period, so diversifying between players is necessary to avoid fatigue."

Regarding the injury to Moroccan goalkeeper Yassine Bounou and his substitution at the beginning of the second half, Jesus explained, "Bounou felt slight muscle pain at the end of the first half, so I decided not to take any risks and replaced him in the second half."

He added, "I have full confidence in all goalkeepers, and Mohamed Al-Owais may soon return to readiness, while Habib Al-Watyan is also ready."
