Juanma Lillo is back at Man City as Pep Guardiola’s assistant
Lillo has re-joined Man City and Guardiola’s coaching staff.
have confirmed that Juanma Lillo has rejoined Pep Guardiola’s backroom staff. He was the head coach of Al-Sadd in Qatar last season.
Pep Guardiola spoke about Lillo's return to Manchester City to the club's official website.
“Juanma sees things no one else in the game sees. He understands football on an incredible level, so he is the perfect person for me to work alongside.
“I have always been inspired by him – his knowledge of football, his intelligence and his humanity mark him out as a very special person in my life – and we have a shared ideology."

Manchester City will play against Burnley in their first Premier League match on Friday.
