Ronaldo: "Saudi League will be in world top five"
Cristiano Ronaldo has praised the Saudi Pro League.
Al Shabab took the lead with two goals from Guanca against Al Nassr, but Talisca scored before the end of the first half to make it 2-1. Ghareeb and Ronaldo also scored in the second half to complete their comeback.
spoke after Al Nassr’s 3-2 win against Al Shabab which kept their title hopes alive.
"The Saudi League is getting better, next year we will be even better. Step by step I think this league will be in the top five leagues in the world. But they need time, they need players and infrastructure. I believe that this country has amazing potential, amazing people and the league will be great,"
With two weeks left in the competition, Al Nassr is trailing Al Ittihad by three points.
Al Nassr will play against Al-Ettifaq in their next game.
