Man United is interested in player Jeremy Frimpong

Bayern Munich and Barcelona have entered a strong competition with Manchester United to sign Jeremy Frimpong.

There have been reports that

Manchester United

have been interested in signing the 22-year-old

Jeremy Frimpong

, who currently plays for

Bayer Leverkusen

. According to these reports, the interest in Frimpong dates back to last October, and his agent is said to be keen to secure a transfer for him next summer.

Frimpong is a highly rated right-back who joined Leverkusen from Celtic in January 2021 and has since made 22 appearances for the German club. He is known for his pace, dribbling ability, and defensive qualities, and has been tipped for a bright future in the game.

Manchester United have been linked with many right-backs in recent months, as they look to strengthen their defensive options. Frimpong is just one of several players who have been mentioned in connection with the club, and it remains to be seen whether or not United will pursue a move for him in the future.

Despite the speculation, it is important to note that there has been no official confirmation from either club regarding a potential transfer for Frimpong.

According to Fabrizio Romano, who specializes in player transfers, Bayern Munich and

Barcelona

have also entered the strong competition, after they held direct meetings with the player's agent, Jeffrey Lemmert.

Frimpong's contract with Leverkusen extends until 2025. He has participated with the German team in 36 matches in all competitions this season, during which he scored 8 goals and made 9.
