Ronaldo aids earthquakes victims by sending a plane full of care items

More than 42,000 people have been killed and thousands more injured in a devastating 7.7-magnitude earthquake in Turkey and Syria on February 6, including former Chelsea and Newcastle United forward Christian Atsu.

According to

Daily Mail

, Cristiano Ronaldo has sent help to those affected by the earthquakes, paying for tents, food packages, pillows, blankets, beds, baby food, milk, and medical supplies to be sent to the victims of the earthquakes.

Earlier, Merih Demiral also revealed that after getting permission from Ronaldo, he will auction one of the Portuguese superstar's signed jerseys from his collection to raise funds to aid the earthquake victims.

Joining Al Nassr from Manchester United this January, Ronaldo was named Saudi Pro League Player of the Month for February after scoring eight goals in four appearances. Ronaldo has signed a 2-year deal with Al Nassr which would see the 37-year-old earn a reported €200m per year with his commercial deals also included. The contract will run until June 2025 and will include a reported base salary of €70m.
