Haaland breaks Son and Salah’s Golden Boot tally in just 19 games

After scoring a vital hat-trick against Wolves on Sunday, the Norwegian now has scored 25 Premier League goals in his debut Man City season, more than Salah and Son's Golden Boot record last season.

Joining

Manchester City

from Dortmund last summer,

Erling Haaland

reached 25 Premier League goals after only 19 games with a hat-trick against Wolves on Sunday, which was his fourth Premier League hat-trick so far this season. After breaking numerous records along the way, he now has managed to match last season’s Golden Boot winners.

Scoring a total of 23 league goals, Mohamed Salah and Son Heung-min shared the Golden Boot last season. The former Dortmund player also has scored five goals in the Champions League this season and one goal in the EFL Cup. Haaland is the youngest player in history to reach 25 Champions League goals in just 20 matches. He is also the quickest player to reach this record.

He already has recorded the most home goals for City this season, scoring 18 in 11 games at Etihad Stadium.
