Thiago calls on Liverpool to improve upon ‘everything’

Midfielder Thiago wants the whole Liverpool team to improve upon their performances for the rest of the season.

World Cup is nearing its end and clubs are back in action. In preparation of the Premier League’s restart on Boxing Day,

Liverpool

have faced AC Milan, delivering a 4-1 thrashing to the Serie A champions as Thiago scored the Reds’ second goal.

While Liverpool currently sits sixth in the Premier League and 15 points behind the league-leaders Arsenal,

Thiago

has urged Liverpool to improve upon their performances as they didn’t show any consistency in the first 15 games of the season.

"I think everything. As a football player, as now a Liverpool player and as a Liverpool fan, I think we have to improve everything. So, we have to achieve all trophies possible, we have start again the chase for first position – we know it’s tough – but we have other competitions as well so we are trying to chase everything."

Thiago told reporters after the Dubai Super Cup win over Milan.

The Reds will meet Manchester City on December 22 in the Carabao Cup. while pushing for the league title may seem implausible as of now, Klopp’s men could find success in cup tournaments and Europe to redeem their season.
