NHL giant Bill Foley buys Bournemouth for more than £100million
After weeks of negotiations, former Bournemouth owner, Maxim Demin has sold his 100 percent stake in the club to NHL franchise owner and businessman, Bill Foley.

, who owns National Hockey League side, Vegas Golden Knights, has officially purchased 100 percent ownership of the Premier League club,

as he purchased the club in a deal reportedly worth more than
£100million
from Maxim Demin, who ended his 11-year ownership of the Cherries.
"I have tremendous respect for the passion and support the Bournemouth community shows for this club and believe that connection to the community is the foundation for success of any sports team,"
Foley told Bournemouth's official website.
"We will move forward with an 'always advance, never retreat' approach that has defined all of my endeavours.
"I am committed to work with the best football and business minds available to enhance player development, facilities, and the fan experience to put Bournemouth in the best possible position to succeed."
The former England captain
Scott Parkerled Bournemouth to a Preemier League promotion last season. However, after a poor start to the new season, the manager got controversially sacked by the club.
