Vincent Aboubakar doubles dig at "not impressive" Mohamed Salah

The Cameroon international made a lot of controversies after claiming Mohamed Salah is overrated in February. The Egyptian’s marvelous form doesn’t make the Al Nassr striker change his mind saying “I can do whatever he does”.

In addition to bringing

Egypt

to the World Cup and AFCON’s final,

Mohamed Salah

has been prominent at the club level, as the 29-year-old has scored 23 goals in 26 games for Liverpool in all competitions last season. However, despite Salah’s stellar performance this season, Cameroon captain

Vincent Aboubakar

won’t get his comments back as he doubles the criticism speaking with

.

Aboubakar said:

“I'm not impressed by him. I can do what he does. I just don't have the opportunity to play in a big club. I understand people's attitudes, he's one of the best goalscorers in the Premier League. It makes sense that when you go on about a player like that, people will talk. But I did say that it was my opinion, my point of view. I don't give a toss if people don't like it.”

Aboubakar infamously said ahead of

Cameroon

’s penalty-shootout defeat to Egypt in AFCON:

"He doesn't impress me much. I say it clearly because I'm an honest person and I have my way of seeing things.

"If he impressed me, I would say so. But he doesn't impress me much. He's a good player, he scores a lot but he doesn't produce a lot of stuff in the game.

"Of course, he's doing good stuff in the Premier League because he's been in a team that's been there for years. He's a good player but not at the level of some like Mbappe."
