Busquets believes Barcelona have turned a corner before Bayern match

The Spanish midfielder believes that Barcelona has found a good mental condition before the important match against Bayern Munich.

Barcelona captain Sergio Busquets is confident that they have turned things around after their last two La Liga victories.

After failing in three consecutive matches during the recent weeks, Barcelona managed to beat Villarreal 3-0 and Athletic Club 4-0. Last night, they scored 3 goals in the first 45 minutes of their match and Ousmane Dembele managed to register 3 assists and 1 goal. The win got Barcelona back on track this season and Busquets claimed the win could help the Blaugrana ahead of their crucial clash with Bayern Munich.

He said:

“We came into this week on the back of a difficult one before, but we recovered well, played two good games, and we’re fighting for the top spots.

“The manager will be happy, as he wants to win and do it comfortably.

“I hope the injured players can recover quickly, as the more players we have available, the stronger we are.”

The Blaugrana are still able to advance from the group stage, but their fate is in the hands of Inter Milan. If the Nerazzurri win against Viktoria Plzen, Barca will fail to advance to the knockout stages of the Champions League for the second season in a row.
