Salihamidzic explains how Bayern rebuilt after losing Lewandowski

Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic explains how they rebuilt their team after Robert Lewandowski's departure.

Hasan Salihamidzic ahead of

Bayern’s

clash with

Inter

in the Champions League has talked about losing

Robert Lewandowski

and facing Inter.

“It’s not all new, we have a good attack with many different approaches,”

Brazzo told Sky Sport Italia.

“We tried to create a team over the last few years with good maturity, we have many German internationals who have already won the World Cup, a mix with young talents who can grow, so we’ll see what happens.

“Obviously, the coach must always be in agreement with the club on the strategy. We had a good market, now we need to start winning.”

Former Juventus player Salihamidzic admits his ability to speak Italian helped him in signing defender Matthijs de Ligt this summer.

“Italy means a lot to me, as I had four wonderful years with Juventus, even if we didn’t win that much.”

Bayern Munich after two consecutive draws in the Bundesliga will face Inter at San Siro.

“It would be good to start the Champions League on the right foot, but we know how difficult it is to play against Inter, who have a really strong team.”
