The German defender defended the idea that Florentino Perez wanted to implement with the cooperation of other club directors.

Toni Kroos

supported the Super League and claimed that this idea should be implemented in the coming years.

Real Madrid, along with several other clubs, were trying to launch the Super League project, but with the departure of the Premier League teams from this project, only Los Blancos,

Barcelona

and Juventus remained loyal to it. Now Kroos defended the idea of Super League and claimed that this project should be implemented in the coming years.

“Never contradict your own President,”

he said.

“It is obvious that the idea existed and still exists. It should have been in place a long time ago, I think it will take a while to put it into place and I probably won’t see it as an active player. My opinion is that I continue to believe it will happen, but I cannot say when.”

With the start of the project, there was a big difference between the clubs in the Super League and UEFA, and UEFA threatened to ban them from the Champions League. Many courts have been held in this regard and none of the two sides have been able to win this legal battle.
