Davies: Tottenham players would run through brick wall for Conte

Tottenham player Ben Davies says his teammates are willing to run through a brick wall for Antonio Conte.

Ben Davies

has praised Antonio Conte and insists the Italian has made a big impression on the whole squad at

Tottenham.

Conte and

Chelsea

manager Thomas Tuchel showed red cards for their touchline row following the final whistle on Sunday.

"We’re used to seeing that passion from him!"

Davies said.

"His record speaks for itself. He’s a world-class manager, but as a person and as a man on the side, you can’t help but want to run through a brick wall for him.

"He’s animated, he’s very clear in what he wants from his team. He’s very passionate. When he speaks, you can’t help but just sit there and listen.”

Davies also about the game against their London rival said:

"Once we got our equalizer, and got it to 1-1, it was a tough game and probably those are the moments that we have to be better at managing and making sure that we don’t go behind, but we showed a lot of character, a lot of fight. It wasn’t a great performance by us but we stuck with it."

Conte alongside Tuchel has been charged by the FA  with improper conduct for their behavior at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

Tottenham started their season  with a 4-1 win over Southampton and followed with a 2-2 draw away at Chelsea. They will face Wolves at home next Saturday.
