Gollini set to have his Fiorentina medical
As per reports from Sky Sport Italia, the 27-year-old’s move to Fiorentina is imminent and the former-Tottenham shot-stopper is going to undergo a medical next week.
Pierluigi Gollini
is prepared to comeback to the Artemio Franchi on a loan deal worth €500,000, and it includes an option to purchase for €8m.
Gollini played the last season at
Tottenhamon a loan contract but never featured in the
Premier Leaguematches and Spurs did not trigger the option to purchase. The Italy international went back to Atalanta, but Fiorentina are reported to be prepared to welcome him again.
As per the report, Gollini is set to undergo his medical in a day or two. He had already featured in Florence, between 2010 and 2012, but made a move to
Manchester Unitedwhen he was 17 before penning a contract with the Tuscans.
Dragowski and Pietro Terracciano did not perform convincingly last season; therefore, the Tuscans chose to get a new shot-stopper that have Serie A experience.
Gollini has appeared in 117 matches in Serie A with Verona and Atalanta, with 31 one of them being clean sheets.
