Tottenham reached an agreement with Brighton over Bissouma

The Mali star will soon be added to Conte's squad.

According to reports from England,

Brighton

midfielder Yves Bissouma has reached an agreement with

Tottenham

to transfer to the team.

With just one year left on the Brighton star's contract with the club, it looks like he will become the Spurs' third summer signing after Fraser Forser and Ivan Perisic.

Arsenal

, Aston Villa and Everton are trying to sign the Mali midfielder, and Brighton turned down an offer from Aston Villa in the winter. Tottenham have been monitoring Bissouma since his he was playing for Lille, and in 2018 they were trying to replace him with Moussa Dembele.

However, the Spurs eventually took over Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon, and Bissouma left for Brighton for £15 million, making 124 appearances for the team. Antonio Conte was impressed by Bissouma's good performance in the match between Brighton and Spurs last season, and therefore ordered his recruitment. The North Londoners are expected to pay £25 million for the transfer and it will be finalized soon.
