Inter turn down Man City’s €60m offer for Bastoni

As per reports from the Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nerazzurri have rejected a €60m offer for the Alessandro Bastoni from Manchester City; however, the bid may rise and make a true dilemma.

Inter

cashed in on

Romelu Lukaku

and

Achraf Hakimi

and sent them to Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain respectively in the summer of 2021 to balance their books.

They are in a difficult situation and many believe that they would sell one of their big players for the next season.

The player was meant to be either Stefan de Vrij or Milan Skriniar; however,

Alessandro Bastoni

is receiving big offers instead.

The plan would be to retain the services of the Italy international and that is why they rejected

Manchester City

’s €60m offer.

However, according to reports from the

Gazzetta dello Sport

, Inter may not resist should the offer be much higher.

Pep Guardiola

being interested in the 23-year-old is not a surprise as they believe the defender is the heir to Leonardo Bonucci, sharing the similar characteristics.
