Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich suffers suspected poisoning
Roman Abramovich and Ukrainian peace negotiators suffered symptoms of suspected poisoning.
According to Wall Street Journal,
Roman Abramovich
and three Ukrainian negotiators in the ceasefire talks between Russia and Ukraine were allegedly poisoned during a meeting in Kyiv in early March.
The condition of the Russian oligarch has since improved, though it was reported he lost his vision for several hours.
Earlier this month Abramovich had all his assets frozen in the UK and EU, with the British government saying that he had maintained a close relationship with Vladimir Putin for decades.
This has caused Abramovich to seek a quick sale of major properties worldwide, including
ChelseaFootball Club.
