Atletico Madrid plan to keep Griezmann for next season

Antoine Griezmann

Griezmann has played in 25 matches for

this season and met the target eight times, so the fact that he will complete his move when the season ends is taken for granted at Atletico.

The option in the contract for buying him is said to be around €40m; however, it is not compulsory until the transfer’s second year.

The 31-year-old, who broke through

’s youth system before making a move to Atletico in 2014, left for Barcelona but came back in 2021’s summer.

The France international has 103 caps and scored 42 goals. He found the target 141 times for Los Rojiblancos in his two-year spell.
