Mbappe has a touch of Pele - Wenger

The French star could leave PSG as a free agent in the summer, and many clubs are looking to sign him.

Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has praised

Kylian Mbappe

and compared him to football legend Pele, although he has claimed that he could be called "crazy" because of the comparison.

At the age of 19, Mbappe won the World Cup and had an unparalleled brilliant performances at the club level with

Paris Saint-Germain

. While the French star and

Erling Haaland

are in the spotlight, Wenger believes that Mbappe is ahead of the Norwegian star.

"When I first saw him, I said on French television: 'There's Pele in him'. Everyone thought I was a bit crazy, nut he's got to this level.

"Technically, he is a little ahead of Haaland. He has his fantasy, not just his speed.

"He has intelligence, good technical quality, good timing in his runs, quick analysis of the game. He is also a free spirit, he is exceptional."
