Marco Rose explained Haaland absence

The Norwegian star has been out of action for some time and has not been able to accompany his team in recent games.

Dortmund

boss Marco Rose has commented on the prolongation of

Erling Haaland

's return to action after his injury.

The Norwegian striker has been sidelined since January 22 due to injury and has missed several important games for his team, including a Europa League clash with the

Rangers

and his elimination. However, Dortmund are in no hurry to return to the Netherlands and the coach explained his reasons for the schedule.

Rose said:

“Erling is still having a few problems, he doesn’t feel comfortable with his movement yet.

"We don’t want to risk another injury or play with his health, and neither does he. It’s going to take a few more days."

Dortmund are currently second in the Bundesliga and are eight points adrift of leaders Bayern Munich with 10 games left in the competition.
