McKennie out for eight weeks through injury, Sandro also injured

Weston McKennie is going to be out of action for eight weeks due to the foot injury that he suffered during the Bianconeri’s 1-1 draw against the Yellow Submarine.

suffered fractions in the second and third metatarsals in his foot when Juventus went against

The 23-year-old had to be taken off the field during Juve’s draw with Villarreal in the

on Tuesday.

Reports emerged of the United States international’s double break and the club have also confirmed the claims.

The midfielder will be out of action for eight weeks, missing next month’s World Cup qualifying triple-header with his country.

Alex Sandro

will be a shorter lay-off but Juve are without the left-back for now. The blow to his calf will be evaluated in 2 weeks.

Kaio Jorge, on the other hand, is set to go under the knife as he sprained his knee, which made Juve suffer a day of miserable injury news.
