Davies is recovering from his hurt problem

Bayern Munich boss explains Alphonso Davies’ situation with his injury.

Alphonso Davies

, who has been struggling from a hurt problem that happened to him after Covid-19, is recovering from his injury, according to

Bayern Munich

boss,

Julian Nagelsmann

, who admits that the left-back is bored with the situation that has put him away from the action for many games.

The Canadian’s return date is not set yet, and Nagelsmann says that they don’t want to rush his return, so he has time to fully recover from his injury.

"He's fine. He's bored because he can't do anything, but you have to let it heal completely.”

Nagelsman said in the press conference ahead of their clash against RB Leipzig.

"An investigation is due after four weeks, then further steps will be taken. We'll see."

Davies hasn’t been able to play any games since the beginning of 2022 after testing positive for Covid-19 in January, and Nagelsmann had revealed that he had shown signs of an inflammation of the heart muscle.

Nagelsmann said of Davies on January 14:

“He has stopped training for now, so he won't be available to us for the next few weeks.

“This myocarditis isn't too dramatic based on the ultrasound, but more simply signs of an inflammation. Nevertheless, it needs to heal and that will no doubt take some time.”
