Alexia Putellasadds The FIFA Best Women's Player gong for 2021 to her Ballon d'Or Feminine award to complete her perfect year in which she won the treble with the Catalans and scored 26 goals in 42 games.
"I'm very happy, I'm thrilled. I would like to thank all my teammates and also congratulate them because this award is for all of us. This award will make us play with the same motivation for this year and I hope we have great success again this year.
"I think that in Spain we have a lot of talent. What we needed was to work more and time, because this was not the result of a few months, it's the result of a lot of years of work.

The Spanish forward has been asked about her performance at Barcelona, and she said that this success is the result of a few years of hard work.
"I think at the end of the day, it's the result of a few years. We have been very successful as a team, we won the Champions League, we are very happy, I hope we will have the same success this year."
