Newcastle to improve their offer for Brazilian defender

The Brazilian defender has attracted the attention of Newcastle and they intend to spend a significant amount of money to sign him.

Newcastle

intend to increase their offer for

Sevilla

defender

Diego Carlos

to persuade the Spanish club to sell him.

After the Saudi Investment Fund acquired ownership of the club, Newcastle selected Eddie Howe as the new manager, and extensive changes were made to the team. Now they are thinking of strengthening the team in the winter transfer window, and so far they have hired Kieran Trippier from Atletico Madrid and Chris Woods from Burnley.

However, Howe also intends to strengthen his team's defense, and Carlos is a good option for them.

Rumor has it that Sevilla rejected Newcastle's initial offer and Sky Sports claimed that Howe would make a new offer to sign the Brazilian defender. It is said that there is a 75 million euro termination clause in Carlos' contract, but Sevilla is ready to negotiate for a sum of around 45 million euros.
