Lotito reveals Sarri’s two-year contract extension
The Lazio President pronounced that Maurizio Sarri will pen a two-year contract extension, but the squad revealed that they have yet to do what the coach desires.

Lazioand notwithstanding starting the season on the wrong foot,

decided to offer him an extension deal for another two years.
“I’ve met a man who can make the difference in the world of football. He lives football with passion and if somebody thinks he is on the brink, I can ensure it’s not like this,” he said during the team’s Christmas dinner.
“I’ve given the mandate to renew his contract by two years automatically.”
Lazio have only gained 26 points in 16 games and the club president believes the players are not showing their full potentials.
“People stop me in the street asking me what’s going on. Some players don’t remember where they are, somebody has forgotten about the team spirit. Not everybody understands the sacrifice that we do, but we must respect everyone’s work.”
Before and during the event, the club players have talked about the issue.
