Egypt

coach Carlos Queiroz believes that his team will face a difficult match against

Tunisia

in the semi-finals of the Arab Cup.

Egypt and Tunisia will face each other today in the semi-finals of the 2021 Arab Cup. The Pharaohs lost 4 of their players due to injuries on the way to the semi-finals. Ahmed Hegazi and Ayman Ashraf were injured in the final group stage match and missed the quarter-final match against Jordan. Mohamed El-Shennawy and Hamdi Fathi also suffered minor injuries in the match against

Jordan

. Therefore, Queiroz believes that his team will have a difficult task in the match against Tunisia.

“We will wait until the end of Tuesday evening’s training to see the latest developments of the whole team.

“I will not pressure any injured player to play in any match. If the player is 100% healthy, he will play, otherwise he will not participate.

“This is not my way of approaching football and the health of the players is my main priority.

“The quality of the two teams is excellent and I expect an exciting match, which is the important thing for the fans and for Arab football.

“We will do our best to reach the final, and I trust that my team will get the win after all their effort.

“The Tunisian national team has a great history and the current generation is as distinguished as its predecessors, and I think the match will be difficult for both sides.

“We have to be strong in order to overcome Tunisia. We need to make them suffer for the entirety of the game.

“It’s simple, when you are the best team that attacks and the best team that defends, you get the best result."
