Van de Beek trying to leave Man Utd in January

The Dutch star is getting closer and closer to the exit door of Old Trafford.

Manchester United

midfielder Donny van de Beek is trying to prepare for his departure from the club.

Van de Beek left

Ajax

for Old Trafford 18 months ago for 40 million euros. He was expected to become one of his team 's most influential players, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer rarely used him in midfield. He has played in exactly half of United's Premier League games, but has only played in four games from the start.

He has only played 5 minutes in the league this season, while the Red Devils are not experiencing a good situation. Hence, the Dutch midfielder is looking to leave the club and is considering other options.

Everton are among the clubs monitoring the Dutch midfielder, although United have blocked the transfer. Van de Beek's Agent said in this regard:

"There was a lot of interest from Italy, Germany, England, so that looked good.

"But you need the co-operation of the club, and it looked like they would, but ultimately they didn't.

"Disappointed, but also assuring for him, so that he will get his chance, and will get his minutes, but this will become clear in due time.

"He's been promised that before, but we came to a clear agreement about this with the club, so we have all faith that it will happen now."

However, the Dutch midfielder is trying to leave Old Trafford in January. On the other hand, he is also worried about the Netherlands, and Van Gaal has not included him in his final squad, and the World Cup in Qatar will start in about a year. It remains to be seen where the Manchester United midfielder will end up.
