Lazio’s Immobile may return against Inter

The Lazio striker had instrumental tests today at the Paideia Clinic and the club are hoping he will return in time for their battle against Inter.

Ciro Immobile

did not answer the call up from

Italy

for the two games in the Nations League this month, as he didn’t appear in their last match against Bologna, struggling with a physical problem.

The

Lazio

striker underwent some tests today and according to

Tuttomercatoweb

, he may return in time for the clash against

Inter

on Sunday.

The 31-year-old suffered a muscle injury and the Biancocelesti announced that he is going to be assessed during the international break.

Immobile, who penned a contract with the club recently that will keep him until 2026, has found the back of the net six times and provided two assists in six Serie A matches this season.

However, he missed the game when Maurizio Sarri’s men were defeated 3-0 at the hands of Bologna on October 3, before he was absent for two battles against Spain and Belgium in the Nations League.
