Camavinga left the France U21 due to injury

The midfielder is not part of the France U21 squad and has returned to Spain as he did not manage to overcome the injury he sustained in Real Madrid’s battle against Espanyol, as per reports from Diario AS.

Eduardo Camavinga

sustained a leg injury and missed his side’s matches against Ukraine and Serbia. The midfielder had to leave the France U21 squad.

The decision was made on Saturday after he underwent further tests by the French Football Federation doctors. The 18-year-old is still in pain and has returned to Spain to work with his club’s medical team. The injury is not major but it is a blow for the player and the club as it came in a pivotal part of the season for

Real Madrid

.

Madrid will not be in action until Tuesday, when they face Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League, as next weekend’s battle against Athletic Bilbao was postponed by La Liga due to a number of South American players being in need of rest following the international break. However, the game with Shakhtar is pivotal, after their loss against Sheriff last time out.
