Dani Alves expected to join Flamengo
Dani Alves, a former Barcelona and Sevilla right-back, is set to join Flamengo as a free agent.
After he departed from
Ligue 1powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain, Alves returned to his homeland in 2019.
He signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Sao Paulo, but the club revealed he left as a free agent earlier this month, although his contract expiring in December 2022.
In recent weeks, Alves' next target has been the subject of intense transfer rumors, with strong stories linking him to a return to Europe.
Flamengo have already presented an offer to the 38-year-old, as per transfer analyst

, and he is likely to finalize a deal next week.
