Harvey Elliot faces a serious leg injury

Liverpool’s young midfielder has picked a serious injury in their latest match.

Liverpool’s

young midfielder

Harvey Elliot

has made everyone worried for him following his serious leg injury in the Reds’ Premier League clash against

Leeds United

. The 18-year-old convinced Jurgen Klopp to pick him instead of the more experienced midfielders in the team Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita, which led to some criticism, but Elliot’s performance proved Jurgen Klopp’s correctness in his decision.

The player had a good performance in that game at  Elland Road, helping his side take a two-goal lead in the first hour of the match then he was injured in an awful clash Pascal Struijk which cost the Leeds’ defender a red card and made the medical staff of both sides come to the pitch quickly as he was clearly in a lot of pain, although he was able to respond to the fans’ round of applause when he was leaving the pitch.

Elliot’s situation didn’t make anything easier for the home side as they had to continue the game with one less man, and the Reds increased the pressure and kept Leeds’ players in their half for most of the game. And in the last minute of the game, Mane scored another one to secure a 3-0 victory for Klopp’s side.
