Juventus end fiscal year with €190.7m losses
Juventus are set to lose €190.7 million in the 2020-21 fiscal year, more than twice the number from the previous year.
The consequences of the outbreak of the coronavirus, which forced all stadiums in Italy to ban spectators, as well as the early Champions League exit in the Round of 16, are still being felt.
Based on the statistics provided today by
Juventus' parent company Exor,
Calcio e Finanza
calculates that Juventus will end the 2020-21 fiscal year with losses of €190.7 million.
That will be more than double the amount of losses they had in 2019-20 of €89.7m.
Juventus have their own stadium and therefore have more revenue than other clubs from ticket sales, so have been hit particularly hard by the pandemic.
Even today, stadiums are operating with 50 percent capacity with fans able to enter if they can prove their COVID status.
