Emma Hayes calls for VAR in Women’s Super League

has criticized the league for not introducing VAR in the Women’s Super League, saying that she feels like people treat women footballers as second-class citizens.
But it doesn’t seem like what she asks can be provided any time soon as there are no plans in the Football Association for using VAR in the Women’s Super League, according to the PA news agency.
Emma Hayes believes that the game must be going forward with the time, especially now that it has TV coverage.
She said:
"By putting our product on Sky it gets people to raise the question, why isn't there VAR?
"We sell our game short - we've got used to VAR and goal-line technology so I feel like not having it in the women's game, I feel like second-class citizens."
Despite all that has been said, we must know that Women’s Super League is played at National League stadiums like West Ham at Dagenham & Redbridge, and these stadiums don’t have the needed technology to accommodate VAR, and the costs of providing such things will be too high at this stage of the teams’ development.
