Tottenham intersted in Mikkel Damsgaard

Tottenham, who appointed Fabio Paratici as their new sporting director, have been looking for new attackers and according to reports Mikkel Damsgaard has emerged as a target for them.

Tottenham Hotspur

have been looking for new players in

Serie A

this summer and also it seems they are close to signing Atalanta defender Cristian Romero.

After they reinforced Nuno Espirito Santo’s defense, they started to look for new attackers and according to the reports

Mikkel Damsgaard

is one of their choices.

Damsgaard moved to

Sampdoria

last summer and since then his performance has been impressive. He also jumped at the opportunity to impress more when Denmark reached the semi-finals at the Euro 2020 this summer as he was able to score two goals, including a free kick against England in the semi-final.

Sampdoria President Massimo Ferrero has also said that he wants Damsgaard to move to Roma and he would make it work if Roma contact him this summer, however, it seems the Denmark international is continuously linked with moves to the Premier League.

According to Evening Standard, Aston Villa and Liverpool have shown interest in the 21-year-old and they might need to pay at least €50 million for him.
