The Hungary international, however, managed to make his first appearance for Leipzig on Saturday in the Red Bulls’ 1-0 victory over AZ Alkmaar.
In a post-match interview with

, the 20-year-old midfielder said:
"I was very happy to finally be on the pitch in a game again, to wear the jersey, to see the fans. It was very nice. Of course there is still room for improvement, but that is normal after such a long time. For us, it was good to start with a win.
"Maybe I'm a few percent off, but I actually feel fit. Because I was out for so long, we decided that in the first week of training I would not do the full program, but increase the intensity step by step. Now I'm in full training."
