Van Dijk slams reports suggesting he has led revolts against Van Gaal

Virgil van Dijkis leading a group of Dutch internationals who are rallying to prevent the appointment.
According to the report, Van Dijk is interested in working with the former Chelsea assistant
Henk ten Cate
as the national team’s manager. The Liverpool center-back reacted to the newspaper's story, labeling it as ‘completely false’ in a Twitter post.
"This story is completely false,"
Van Dijk wrote on his Twitter
account.
"It’s never been more important for journalists to tell the truth and not just make stuff up. Shame on you Mr Mullock."
Van Gaal has previously guided the Oranje to a third-place finish at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. The former Manchester United boss might be lured out of retirement just weeks before his 70th birthday. However, the KNVB supervisory board is yet to give its official approval regarding the appointment.
