Man Utd close to signing Raphael Varane
Manchester United are close to sealing a deal with Real Madrid center-back Raphael Varane.

. It seems Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is determined to sign him and the Red Devils are close to agreeing on personal terms with the Frenchman.
Although Paris Saint-Germain are also trying to sign him, it seems Manchester United are more interested in him.
Varane was able to play all of the games for France in the Euro 2020 which was a disappointment as they were knocked out by Switzerland in the last 16 despite entering the tournament as favorites.
He has also made 31 appearances for Real Madrid last season during which he was able to score two goals.
Real Madrid lost and signed a center-back this summer. Sergio Ramos after 16 seasons and 22 titles left the club and joined Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer and Austrian International David Alaba joined the club from Bayern Munich also on a free transfer.
It seems Carlo Ancelotti, who was appointed as the manager after Zinedine Zidane’s departure, needs to put together a new center-back partnership next season.
