Sarabia will miss Euro 2020 semi-final against Italy, confirms Enrique

Spain manager Luis Enrique has confirmed that Pablo Sarabia will not be available for La Roja’s Euro 2020 semi-final clash with Italy on Tuesday.

The

Paris Saint-Germain

winger was forced off at halftime during his side’s victory over

Switzerland

in the quarter-final.

Pablo Sarabia

suffers from a slight injury to the right adductor. He did not participate in the training of La Roja this Saturday. His presence for the semi-final against Italy is in doubt.

Enrique

has now confirmed the 29-year-old is unlikely to feature against the Azzurri with no improvement in his fitness level in recent days.

“Yesterday, Aymeric Laporte did not train and someone else for no special reason, because we gave him that option”,

as per reports from

Marca

.

“They are all fit except Sarabia. Physically they are well and tiredness ends 45 minutes after finishing the quarter-final game.”

RB Leipzig

star

Dani Olmo

replaced Sarabia against the Swiss and he could start against Italy.
