Tierney ready to play against England - Clarke

The Scottish defender will have no problem accompanying his team to tomorrow night's match.

Scotland

boss Steve Clarke has confirmed that Kieran Tierney will be ready for the game against England.

The Arsenal defender, who missed Scotland's match against the Czech Republic on Monday due to injury, returned to training on Tuesday. His injury, which prevented him from playing in Scotland's first match in the Euros, was not so serious and it seems that he will fully recover and will accompany his team in the crucial match against England.

Clarke told reporters: "Everybody fit and available, including Kieran. It's good news for Kieran, it's good news for us, it's good news for the Scottish supporters, so hopefully we can back all that up with a good result.

"He's trained fully the last two days, so he's available for the whole game."

England and Scotland will face each other in their second match at Euro 2020, on Friday. England won their match against Croatia and by winning tomorrow's match, they can ease their hopes of advancing. Scotland, on the other hand, lost the first match against the Czech Republic and have a lot of motivation to win for the first time in Euro2020.
