Wales defeats Turkey in their second Euro 2020 clash

He even created multiple opportunities to double the lead, but Turkey’s hardworking defensive line prevented more goals to keep their hopes alive for the last ten minutes of the game, and with the beginning of the last twenty minutes they started to raise the pressure on the opposition, although Wales’ compact defense prevented Turkish players from creating danger in their box as they kept desperately trying to level the game as the game got closer to the end.

Turkey’s most important opportunity in the second half was in the 87th, where they missed their chance to convert a header to a goal from a corner kick.

In the last minutes, the game was stopped by a fight between the players after a clash that made the referee show his yellow card to three players, and a few minutes later, Robert scored Wales' second goal again with a pass from Bale.

Finally, Wales secured the first win in the Euro 2020, and Turkey experienced another defeat to make their situation harder.
