Christian Eriksen went down during his country's opening Euro 2020

Denmark captain Christian Eriksen went to ground during the match with Finland.

After initial medical treatment, Eriksen was pulled off the ground on a stretcher.

UEFA have confirmed the match between Denmark and Finland has been suspended.

After Eriksen was taken to the hospital, UEFA announced that his health was stable. The Danish FA also confirmed that Eriksen was awake and undergoing further examinations.

Following the request made by players of both teams, UEFA has agreed to restart the match between Denmark and Finland tonight at 20:30 CET (TBC). The last four minutes of the first half will be played, there will then be a 5-minute half-time break followed by the second half.
