Franck Ribery wants to extend his stay at Fiorentina

Former Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery has confirmed that he wants to continue at Fiorentina, and according to reports in Italy, the Serie A side could extend his deal for two more years.

The French star’s current deal at the Stadio Artemio Franchi expires at the end of the month, and his priority is to remain at the club for at least another year.

“My priority is to stay at Fiorentina also in the next season, I hope I can continue here, but I am still waiting to discuss it together [with the club],”

The Frenchman currently earns €4.5million a year, but it is still unsure whether the Tuscans will offer him the same salary.

As reported by the Italian media outlets in April, They offered a one-year contract with a salary of two million. And with Ribery’s last words, everything indicates that he will continue his career in Italy.
