The England international also says that he is a huge fan of Nadal, the Spanish tennis player.

Eric Dier

is now one of the players in the current

Tottenham Hotspur

squad who has a lot of domestic and international experience although he is still a young player. Dier was born in England but moved to Portugal at the age of 7 and quickly became a player for the

Sporting CP

academy.

The physical central defender joined the London club in 2014 from Sporting and quickly became a key figure for the club and also a player for the England national team. He has the features of the leader and he has so much love and passion for the club.

When asked by The Evening Standard where he'd like to be buried, he said:

“I’d have my ashes scattered in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.”

Although he was born in England and raised in Portugal, he claims that a tennis player from Spain has always been his idol.

"Growing up, tennis was very big in my family and my brothers and I were huge Nadal fans,"

he said.

"I never would have gone for tennis over football, though."
