Arsenal: Kieran will be back in full training within 4 to 6 weeks

Although Kieran Tierney is going to miss the game against Slavia Prague, Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe, and Granit Xhaka are all fit to feature on Thursday night.

Kieran Tierney

is going to miss the games for a period of between four to six weeks as

Arsenal

confirmed that he is suffering from knee ligament damage.

Tierney was replaced just before half-time in their 3-0 loss to Liverpool on Saturday at the Emirates Stadium.

“Kieran sustained ligament damage to his left knee during Saturday’s match against Liverpool,” The Gunners said on their official website.

“Surgery will not be required and it’s hoped that Kieran will be back in full training within four to six weeks.”

Tierney is definitely going to miss the game against

Slavia Prague

in the

Europa League

and also the games against Sheffield United, Fulham, Everton, and Newcastle in the

Premier League

.

The Gunners then are going to face West Brom on May 8, before a trip to face Chelsea a week later.

Should they reach the Europa League semi-final, they would also play against either Villarreal or Dinamo Zagreb, with the second leg of that potential tie due to be played on May 6 which means Tierney is likely to be unfit and can not play in those games either.

However, Tierney hopes to be fit for Euro 2020 in the summer as Scotland are going to face the Czech Republic on June 14.

Arsenal also wrote on their official website about David Luiz:

"Luiz underwent a small procedure on his right knee at the weekend. The intervention went well and David is rehabilitating with the medical team.

"David is expected to be back to full fitness and available for selection in the upcoming weeks."

The update then continued talking about Real Madrid loan star Martin Odegaard who has been suffering from an ankle issue:

"Martin has been experiencing discomfort to his right ankle since being on international duty.

"Martin is being assessed ahead of Thursday’s match regarding his availability."

There was also good news as the club stated that

Bukayo Saka

,

Emile Smith Rowe

, and

Granit Xhaka

are all fit and ready to face Slavia Prague on Thursday night.
